About Us
Hands and Feet of Jesus is a nonprofit created by a volunteer for volunteers. The founder/executive director Phillip Barrett first started to find his calling in helping others through his work with the Fuller Center for Housing. However, the cost that can come with being a full time volunteer was seen as something that could become quite challenging for any called into that role.
Having this issue brought before him, the idea to help facilitate low-cost missions opportunities was brought to the forefront. Just as the first century church provided places for Jesus and His disciples to stay as they ministered to the masses, Hands and Feet of Jesus hopes to also provide those called to minister to others with church hosts able to house them for free.
In trying to create such a platform that helps those ministering to others, it seemed apparent that those in charge of overseeing the growth of such a platform needed to be those that have also given of their time and resources in an effort to help others and share with them the amazing message of Jesus’ love. These attributes are what Hands and Feet of Jesus will always look for in those that join the Board of Directors which currently consists of the following board members:
